Data Review Committee

Following a field test, educators will be asked to participate in the Data Review meeting to evaluate statistics from field-tested items on the operational assessment. Educator and bias committee members meet to evaluate test items and associated performance data with regard to appropriateness, level of difficulty, and potential gender, ethnic, or other bias. Then the committee recommends acceptance or rejection of each field-test item for inclusion on an operational assessment. The Data Review Committee also makes recommendations that certain items be revised and re-field tested. Items that were approved by the Committee and are eligible for use on operational summative assessments.
