Parent Portal

​Parental involvement and support play a significant role in student success. The Parent Portal, which is offered only for select organizations, offers direct access to assessment information for parents and guardians.

In the Parent Portal, parents/guardians can learn everything they need to know about their student’s performance on the Spring ELA/Math Assessment. To get started, parents/guardians will need to input the unique claim code featured on the cover of their student’s Student Report, which they will received from their local school.

Video Reporting

Video Individual Score Reports (Video ISRs), available only for select organizations, are personalized videos that will walk parents and/or guardians through their student’s score report. Delivered via the Parent Portal, Video ISRs combine student-specific animation and voice-overs to virtually ensure that a parent/guardian understands their student’s assessment results and even direct them to resources that are tailored to their student's particular needs. Video ISRs are delivered in a student’s home language, with native speakers providing the personalized voiceover. For New Jersey, the video reports will be delivered in the state’s five most popular languages: English, Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, or Arabic.

By producing reports in students' home language, and by providing an explanatory voiceover that describes results in understandable terms, Video ISRs serve to close the information gap that often exists between families based on language spoken, parent education levels, income levels, and ethnicity.
